FAQs

Is the combination of LED light therapy completely safe inside Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers?

Yes, it is safe to use in all hyperbaric chambers, but not in hard shell chambers that are pressurised with 100% medical grade oxygen, due to the volatile environment inside these chambers, absolutely no electrical devices are allowed inside.

Does the light cause the chamber to get hot inside?

There can be some extra warmth generated inside the chamber, that many find very comfortable, however there is a cooler system that comes with all chambers that adapt to Targeted Hyperbarics.

How do I operate the light system inside?

The light system has a simple off and on button inside the chamber, place the pad/s where they are needed and turn on.

How long should the light therapy be used for?

All systems recommended by HWS turn off automatically after 20 mins. This is an optimal length of time to experience the light therapy for the best effect.

Can I benefit from the light therapy outside of the chamber?

Yes, an extra power supply is provided so you can simply plug in the light therapy system while relaxing on the sofa or in bed.

Are there any contraindications to using light therapy?

The only important recommendation is not put infrared light directly over the eye, LED lights have shown to have powerful healing effects without the side effects that powerful laser lights have.
