Targeted Hyperbarics – combining Oxygen and Light Therapies
Modern medicine, despite all its progress, often remains powerless against the many chronic illnesses and injuries created by our modern lifestyle.
Targeted Hyperbarics is a synergistic approach to healing, allowing people to experience the combined benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Infra-red and Red Light Therapy for greater localised effects and penetration of healing.
For over 40 years now, many studies have shown the benefits of using Light in healing.
And in 2001 a study to assess the effects of hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) and near-infrared light therapy on wound healing was published by Marquette University in the US.
It was based on NASA plant growth experiments in space using Light-emitting diodes (LED lights).
The NASA study showed promise for delivering light deep into tissues of the body to promote wound healing and human tissue growth.
The combination of Red and Infrared Light therapeutic wavelengths, along with specific frequencies for different types of conditions has made Light Therapy one of the most powerful healing tools of the 21st century.

There are many published studies on the effects of Light Therapies, which make valuable reading. You can read some of them by looking in our Resources section.
t-HBOT (Targeted Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy)
t-HBOT is a new and emerging field in hyperbaric therapy that synergistically adds low level light therapy (LLLT) to help enhance the therapeutic benefits of hyperbaric therapy (typically m-HBOT).
This form of therapy is becoming more popular amongst academics, and medical professionals alike.
Here you can discover more about The Science behind t-HBOT.
